Borners Barber College is a VA-approved, state-licensed barbering school with two locations serving Los Angeles and Pasadena. We welcome veterans using GI Bill® benefits and are committed to helping them earn a California Barber License and launch a lasting career.
Program
California Barbering Program
State-approved curriculum leading to the California Barber License. Hands-on training in a real barbershop environment.
Tuition Coverage
GI Bill® Covers Tuition & Fees
Post-9/11 GI Bill can cover tuition paid directly to the school, plus a monthly housing allowance and up to $1,000/yr in books & supplies.
Two Locations
Los Angeles & Pasadena
Veterans can enroll at the campus most convenient to them. Both locations offer day and evening schedules, Mon–Fri.
Outcome
Licensed. Career-Ready.
Graduates are eligible to sit for the California State Board exam. Barbering offers entrepreneurial freedom, consistent demand, and community impact.

How to Refer a Veteran

Confirm Eligibility
Help the veteran verify their GI Bill® entitlement at va.gov or through your VSO. Any remaining months of benefit may apply.

Send the Referral
Contact the campus closest to the veteran by phone or email. We’ll schedule a tour or enrollment consultation directly.
03
We Handle the Rest
Our VA Certifying Official will process the benefit certification and coordinate with the VA so the veteran can start without delay.
